NBA.com Power Rankings: Pacers 13th On Post-Lockout List

Stay connected for news and updates

I know, the Indiana Pacers don't even know what their roster will look like for their first game. John Schuhmann doesn't sweat the details in his post-lockout, pre-season NBA power rankings at NBA.com. He just takes the general view of what each team will look like to start the season and then leaves himself plenty of room to adjust as the season begins.

Considering NBA.com had to avoid talking about players during the lockout and by extension basketball, Schumann just couldn't wait to start digging in. Besides he has a pretty nice view of the Pacers, all things considered, ranking them 13th overall and sixth among Eastern Conference teams.

Indiana (37-45)
Pace: 97.2 (6), Off: 101.9 (22), Def: 103.4 (12)
The Pacers are a playoff team and a player in free agency. Frank Vogel has a full season to implement his system and Paul George has a full season to develop as a defensive stopper. A year ago, could you have seen the potential for so much positivity in Indiana? Be honest, now.
