Anyone else ready for this team to sign a scorer?

I think the trade today was a good one. Louis Amundson adds necessary depth and now the team can go get the scoring need that was never filled by the expectations for Brandon Rush.

I think the best move would be to wait until JR Smith becomes available in March.

Nick Young would be nice but would almost definitely be matched by Washington. Same for Aaron Afflalo. No need to waste money on a Michael Redd when Lance Stephenson can fill in until JR comes in for the playoff run.

I don't really see any other viable options unless the team trades a valuable asset. Everything that can be expended has been because AJ Price isn't worth a damn thing.

Lance and redd have different games

Im ok with signing redd and giving him a chance. make stephenson earn his minutes.

Redd is cheaper....

…and we don’t want to add a headache like JR Smith that late in the season probably. I can see a scenario where we are winning with energy and chemistry and I don’t know if throwing a wrench like Smith in there would be wise.

We have to wait until 2013 to get a legit scorer in gordon

Scorers or all star caliber players won’t come here via trade or free agent signing. The only reason we have a chance at snatching gordon is because this is his hometown.

I’m having David West flashbacks..

Why won’t they come here in a trade? Other teams would boycott trading us a scorer?

At this point I would take A.J over Lance.

patience

the team we have now is fine. Just gotta wait for Eric Gordon to be a free agent. Then Paul George and him with dominate the league.

I hope Larry Bird is done making moves this off season.

But what about a Small Forward back up

Doesnt look like were signing Redd as it would have been done last week. He’ll prob go to the Heat or the Knicks at this point…I am cool with our line up except WTF is going to back up at the 3 esp when we play LeBron, Carmello and other prolific small forwards? Danny sure as hell can’t do it all game and neither can Paul. Just a legit body at this point..we could of signed Thornton out of Golden St in the begginning…a 6-8, 335lb just to help hold the fort down to give Danny a break. At this point ALL options are gone…So we maybe playing Lance at the back up 3 and D.Jones as well. They’re going to have to Man Up when they’re number is called.

This

This is exactly the same question I have. Especially when they moved Rush. Who is going to fill that 3 spot because Jones can’t do it all himself.

And No Way

Do I like to see Smith come back over in March???? Hell, we’ll have to start our chemistry and adjustments all over again. If he had a way to get out of the China lockdown then absolutely if he’s no nut case which sounds like he has even show Imaturity in the China league…….

Said it before..

I honestly think Bird is gonna take his chances with Lance (and let others step it up as well) and wait til next summer and finally snag Mayo as a Free Agent. Far more likely than going after Gordon i think.
