Hey everyone, its been great reading you alls thoughts. I haven t posted in a long time but had to kick some knowledge. There has been some good comments and some downright silly ones, but entertaining none the less. Not to mention the "condensed" has become bloated. So anyways here we go. Also, apologize in advance this is on my phone.

To start, lets start with something we can all agree upon. Thank you MR Bird, for not blowing your wad on Nene, though u clearly had a hard on for him. 5 yr for 60 + millions is almost as stupid as what we would ve had to give to beat that. So this does truly give me reafgirmed faith in Bird. Hopefully, this fiscal responsibility continues when the rumblings about us not getting any big name FA startd. Please dont over pay West etc. just cause we missed on our first option.

The next thing I want to speak of is about the amnesty clause. A lot of people seem to not understand it so let me clear some things up. First, the AC can only be used on contracts signed before July 1 2011, so for u that think we should "save it in case we f up a signing" t well it doesnt do anything unless its a contract we already fd up. Also, we cant use it on players we trade for, even if their contract was signed before that date. So the only viable options would be Posey, Jones, or DG. I doubt it be Posey, maybe Jones at end of yr. If all our guys progress though, maybe DG if he becomes redundant in a yr or two and for some reason we need him off the books a yr early. I doubt we use it. Free Agencies been fun so far, though the fan in me whats to see us ina blockbuster trade or signing. The purported collusion, tampering, and vetos have been crazy and unprecedented. Which makes me all the happier that Bird didnt freak out and over pay just to get someone. A lot of people have been getting on the Milsap band wagon, and for good reason, though im not sure I d give more than Rush and a 2nd for him. I also wouldnt be indignant if they traded our2013 1st but not a big fan of that move for Milsap. I would actually rather have big Al at PF, and since he has a big contract and Jazz have too many bigs, we could prolly get him for Rush and a 2nd.(They got him for a 2nd I believe)
