I bet he hasn't, which is a shame, but according to Marc Stein, the former Indiana Pacers point guard is headed for "Big" Zagreb, as in Croatia to play ball during the NBA lockout. After playing in a charity game for John Lucas in Houston this past weekend, Ford is all set to head overseas and join KK Zagreb a Croatian pro team that also plays in Euroleague Group B, whatever that means.
One of Ford's new American teammates has surely eaten at Little Zagreb in Bloomington, though. Former Indiana Mr. Basketball and Bloomington North star Sean May also runs with KK Zagreb where he's averaging almost 15 points and 6 rebounds in seven games so far this season. Former Gonzaga big man, Josh Heytvelt also plays for the team.
As we know, Ford is a free agent and does have an out in his deal that allows him to return to the States if the NBA lockout ends and he signs a deal to play.
