IC Cold Links: Pacers look for a spark at PF, will try Hansbrough

The Pacers return from a long break, but a very tough stretch of games awaits.  Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and the San Antonio Spurs come to town to take on the Indiana Pacers.  The Spurs came out with a win in their first game against the Pacers, while also winning seven straight overall in the series.

Roy Hibbert had a monster game in the first meeting, and he will look to get back on track with Tyler Hansbrough by his side.  Jim O'Brien has decided to start (which doesn't say anything about how much he plays with JOB) Hansbrough because he is the most offensively capable of the power forwards.  I really like this duo and think it can work real well.  No better matchup to go against than Tim Duncan and DeJuan Blair.

The Pacers will have to come out strong from the start, as the Spurs come to Conseco having lost their first back-to-back games of the season.

After the jump check out the links of the day, including George Hill's role with the Spurs so far this year...

It's about time!

I am sooo excited for the game tonight.. Now if only JOB will leave Tyler in the game long enough to get a flow going…. I mean, I’m sure he’ll be little slow starting just because he’s been planted at the end of the bench so long. If Hans gets a true chance I have a feeling things could turn around for us.

I'm excited too

I think Psycho-T and Hibbert together can do good things…I just worry about how long that lineup will last with all the small ball talk. I look forward to see how he does in a starting role.

I just want to know if Tyler is worth a crap or not… only way to find out is if he plays.

Like I have said before… there is no reason to keep Tyler and Josh in the future. We need to figure out which one is the better back up for the future.

Very Cool

I haven’t been to enough to really compare it myself, but it continues to rank at the top of all stadiums. I think we take for granted the facilities the Pacers are given….great find!
