To start, I do not want to trade Granger. This trade is the only way I move him. I'm sure more parts would need to be involved, but here is a start.
The Pacers would land a 1st from NJ in this deal, possibly two depending how desperate NJ is to get a deal done. Other picks can be decided between NJ and DEN.
Why Denver does this trade: Lose the franchise guy in Melo, but can sell the fans on Harris/Granger/Picks for the future. A lot better than expirings and a tons of unproven picks, I know they have Lawson, but they can flip Harris if they wish(Dallas is said to be interested).
Why NJ does this trade: Simple, they get Melo/Billups. Goal accomplished.
Why IND does this trade: Get maximum value for Granger. Center the team around Collison/Hibbert, and have a great young core to build around. On top of that, they keep all the money coming off the books(unless it is worked a a little different). Only change in the lineup is start Favors at the 4 and George at the 3.
Comments if you like/hate. I know as is there is no chance it happens, but this is the only way I see trading the face of the team.
