The Nets are no model franchise, but don't you think the Pacers can expect this sort of star-power reluctance next year when they come out with all this money (assuming there is no work stoppage).  If you don't expect to sign a high-level guy next year with cleared cap space, how does that change your franchise-building this year before the trade deadline?
