Hoopism Illustrates the Average Ages of NBA Treams

+

This is a really cool graphic by the amazing site Hoopism.com, which specializes in really cool graphics. The graphic shows the average age of each NBA team and then how the average age changes when we account for the minutes played by each player. The Pacers have the 8th youngest roster in the league with an average age of 25.83 years. However when that age is weighted for minutes played we drop to the 14th youngest team in league with an average age of 26.9. Only the Mavericks, Spurs, Celtics, Suns and Cavaliers see their average ages increase more when minutes are factored in. I guess this is a little more ammunition for those people calling for rotations with a lot more of George, Price and Hansbrough.
