Stephenson not allowed in the Fieldhouse
Pacers taking strong stance with Lance Stephenson. He hasn't been permitted to workout at Conseco since his alleged incident last month.
AND
Stephenson is working out with asst. coaches at different facility in Indy and also getting counseling help.
Not looking too great for Lance Stephenson's future here in Indiana. If it's going to be like this they may as well go ahead and cut the guy loose.

Hmm...
Well, he’s in Indy and getting ‘help’ at least. Not sure not being allowed into Conseco is a definitive end to his Pacer career. Almost feels like more of a PR move.

What an awkward situation that would be with the other players tho
Pacer: “Man, Lance. How’s everything going?”
Lance: “Man, everything’s cool man.”
Pacer: “Yeeah, those women. They can be.. uh.. tough, huh?”
Lance: “Yeah man.”
Pacer: “Yeeaahhhhhh”
IDK, you could make some jokes.
“See man, this is why I date only Pinatas. At least when you crack their heads the only thing that comes out is candy. And at the sight of candy everyone joins in and we end up with a “I know what you did last summer” event, where everyone is in on this together and can’t tattle."
Or perhaps something like
“… Was it funny?”
Or
“Well, good thing you’re going to prison. Women won’t be a problem there.”
“Here’s some KY jelly… you’re gonna need it.”
I think we should keep this going.

I mean damn they can let him in Conseco….. just don’t let him get near any stairs lol. He just throws Pacers employees down them randomly
They could always try to get it out of his system.
Just let him throw ppl down stairs until he grows bored with it and gives up entirely, then force him to continue to do it. That way it becomes a natural response to not throw ppl down stairs because of the trauma he had to go through. Perhaps, amp it up and force him to throw his dear old grandma down the stairs repeatedly. That should get it out of him.

there are several things I like about this report
He is seeking counseling, and he is working out. I much rather him have him in Indy than back home in coney island, that’s for sure. The Pacers did the right thing in banning him from Conseco to avoid media and a pr disaster.

although this could signal the end for Lance
it could very well be that the Pacers are just waiting for the verdict of the trial to come in before they cut him. If they supported him, they would’ve come out and stand behind him after the incident like they did with Ron Artest after the brawl, but here things look very bleak for Lance.

IDK
As a father of a beautiful lil girl, I was as angry initially as anyone on the site…if he legitimately seeks counseling and takes it serious, stays outta trouble, and changes his behavior, I could get over it. But he HAS to do all those things and keep his nose clean from here on out…I don’t think Larry will ever stand behind a player again after how Artest did him. I actually think him being in Indy and working with coaches and going to counseling is a good indication he has gotten a second chance. I could be wrong, but that would be my guess.
Confucious say "He who dives for loose balls need proper fitting athletic cup!"
Yes, Lance broke all of our collective hearts after we all thought the Pacers were finally getting some MOMENTUM with Lady Luck after our interesting draft and excellent trades this summer. But, Murphy’s Law rules the land……as usual. If you’re gonna assume something, assume and plan for the worst. As Maya Angelou once said, “The first time someone shows you who they are, believe them.” Lance showed himself earlier in his young life that he’s not mature and needs to attend counseling for various issues that affect him like internal rage from unresolved issues from his childhood, i.e. hates his mother so he therefore does NOT trust women in general, especially with his heart. Women today can be very ruthless and hurtful. Lance is finding this out the hard way that money does not equate to happiness. Loving a woman who does not REALLY love you or have your best interests is more to apt to happen when money is involved.
Something about this made me laugh.
Feel free to guess what part that was.

Hopefully it all works out
He is 19 years old, still a puppy in life. Lets give him a chance to rehabilitate his issues, and if he “burns” us, so what. I really don’t care what the media, or dumb NBA fans, think about the team.
The Fans have not supported the team at all these couple of years
I can’t stand the lack of support for the team. its not like the Pacers are the clippers or the Memphis grizzlies, the Pacers were good for a long, long time, its only the past couple of years that they’ve hit the skid, but to see half of the fieldhouse empty on almost every night is certainly discouraging for both the players, the team, and the rest of the fans that do show up.

The economy and the team sucks. Fans aren’t going to work pacers tickets into their limited budget if the product is awful and they hate all the players.
i understand fully what your saying
but the Pacers were 4th last in attendance last year in the entire league and their tickets were ridiculously cheap. The product is bad, but not to the proportionality of their current state. If the pacers had a team full of thugs, I would completely agree, but I think there are players on the team that truely do care, Hibbert, Granger, George, Price. for these player to play in front of a half empty arena is quite disheartening. The lack of support is huge reason in the team possibly moving away in the near future.

True
We have always been middle of the pack or bottom of the pack in attendance. Our fans are not the best when it comes to showing up at Pacers games. I guess there are High School games and College games that monopolize much of the basketball market in Indy, however if we like Pacers basketball we need to start showing up, because I could see this team getting relocated in the next 10 or so years if things stay where they are at.
this is even more discouraging
when Conseco Fieldhouse is consider one of the best sports arena in the NBA.

I can see the reasoning
and I blame the team more than the fans when it comes to showing up, however, the call to arms that we hear from masses of fans and media every time a Pacers makes a minor infraction is getting old quick. This is the NBA. A league full of underprivileged guys that won the genetic lottery which made them millions. Many have little to no education coming from terrible home lives. Once they are drafted, the fans are expecting them to be average citizens with their suburban values, just because we all of a sudden give a few million bucks. You need to understand, when you give a guy millions of dollars that has smoked weed all of their lives, it will not make them stop smoking, it will just make them buy it by the pound instead of the ounce. Fact is, Pacers are no different than any other NBA team and they all get in trouble about the same over a 10 year period.
