Indiana Pacers 2010 Training Camp Set To Begin

Following UFC 119 putting on an exciting show at Conseco Fieldhouse last night, the Indiana Pacers tip off their 2010 training camp this week with 17 players on the roster. Fifteen of those players are currently under contract with second round pick Magnum Rolle and free agent Lance Allred looking to find away onto the regular season roster should a spot open up. From all accounts, all 17 players will be healthy and ready to take part in workouts from day one.

Here's a look at some key preseason dates before the regular season begins in San Antonio on October 27th.

After the jump the training camp roster and a few links of interest including videos with Jim O'Brien and Walter McCarty and more on the big success of the UFC event last night which may bring more good future paydays for the Fieldhouse.

Really hoping Rolle makes the roster.

I think that's one of the reason's they're trying to get in on the Melo deal

Clear a roster spot for him, that and probably trying to jettison Ford for a 2043 2nd rounder or something. I really think if worse comes to worst they just cut Solo.

Yes

that means we will have 2 second round picks in 2043. And a spot for Magnum. Win/win

It would be nice to see Rolle instead of Solo, but they owe Solo 1.5 million for this season. It’s tought to imaging the team swallowing that and releasing him, especially with their tenuous financial situation.

Don't forget when they traded for Rolle they sent pick 57 and cash

Who knows how much cash, but it’d also be tough to see them just swallowing that as well by not finding him a roster spot
