All-In for Kevin Love
Listen, I know you're supposed to buy low and sell high, and Kevin Love's value is at an all-time high with his mistake-free, efficient play for Team USA thus far. But I think the Pacers should do everything they can to get his uncanny knack for rebounding and outlet passing (which would help Collison push the tempo). Obviously, Minnesota would want a TON in return for such a cheap, productive, and young player. However, they just traded for Beasley, a 4-man, and signed Darko (for reasons I still don't know) to an extension. That means for the right price, they would listen to offers.
The Pacers would need to give up young talent. I do not want to get rid of any of our core pieces (being George, Roy, Collison, and Hibbert). Thus, future firsts is the only way to get this player that would MAKE OUR TEAM and cap an unreal summer for the Pacers. Here is what we'd have to give up:
Any two of these three: Hansbrough, Rolle, Stephenson plus two future first round picks.
I do not know if this would get it done for us. With Beasley's off the court issues, I doubt they want Rush, despite their squad having a need there. For the same reason, Stephenson might not be wanted. Maybe Hansbrough needs to play some games and show he can still play before a team would pull a trigger on a trade. But in that case, we might be better off holding onto probably decent mid-first round picks. Any thoughts on going all-in for Kevin Love? Do you think its plausible? Do you think Larry is looking for a deal like this so late in the summer? Or are we trying to send dunleavy and/or ford's expirings to cap the summer?

My Bad
I meant George, Granger, Collison, and Hibbert
Man Crush
I think if khan is willing to trade away Jefferson to start Love, the bonds of this particular man crush are too strong to break…It’s not happening unless maybe we give him like 4 more point guards…now then they’d have a stacked roster hahah
Not just a man crush
I think the decision to pick Love over Jefferson was mostly financial in nature. I mean, when you give up the player for nothing, as Minnesota did, it was a clear sign the move was financial. Still, I think you’re right in that Minny is not looking to deal Love. The Pacers would just have to wow them into a deal. 2 future first round picks is plenty though, especially if they are for the next two seasons and we give them Hansbrough or Rolle in addition.

Yeah...
…I think the problem lies in our desire keep the core. If the Pacers aren’t willing to give up Hibbert, Granger, etc. in some of these deals I just don’t see them happening.
I would love to see Love in Indy, though. Collison, George, Granger, Love, and Hibbert would make this one of the best young, up-and-coming teams in the league. I’m still optimistic that the Pacers don’t have to give away the farm for an elite PF right now. I’m curious to see what Hansbrough, McBobs, and Rolle do, and if they fail, I’m hopeful the Pacers can find a young, athletic PF in the draft, or find a stud big man in free agency. My hope is they already have the answer with one of aforementioned three PFs, if they don’t, I’d prefer they find a young PF in the draft. I love the youth the Pacers are building with. Youth means longevity.
Hmm...
Are you alluding to a confirmed hate or are you just throwing his name in for the sake of it?

Kahn
Spit some insults at the Pacers right before the draft. You don’t remember that?
