Another One of My Crazy Trades!

I think Nukem and I are dukin' it out to get the most crazy trades out there as possible.... it's fun lol!

This one tackles our problems at power forward and point guard and would probably drive Jim O'Brien insane.

Atlanta acquires:

PG: TJ Ford

PF: Troy Murphy

C: Solo Jones (if they want a return visit)

Some sort of draft pick maybe

Indy acquires:

PF: Josh Smith

PG: Mike Bibby

Atlanta does this for a few reasons. One of them is to rid themselves of long-term deals. Smith has a 3 year deal while Bibby has 2 more years. They would lose a lot of cap after next year with all of the players they received. Josh Smith can also be a bit of a pain in the ass apparently and they're rumored to be searching for possible trade options. Tj Ford is also an upgrade over Bibby's bad season last year.

We do it cause we get a PG and a freak of an athlete in Josh Smith at power forward. He's the exact type of player that Roy needs next to him to be the most affective. He's great in a running system. Can put fans in the seats and is only 24. Bibby had a bad year last year but I feel can do well in our system seeing that he can jack up three's. We'd also need to probably need to pick up another PG in free agency, hopefully Raymond Felton.

PG: Felton (26)/ Bibby/ Price (23)

SG: George (20)/ D. Jones/ Stephenson (19)

SF: Granger (27)/ Dunleavy/ Rush (24)

PF: Smith (24)/ Hansbrough (24)/ McRoberts (23)

C: Hibbert (23)/ Foster/ Rolle

Just a thought. Your thoughts?
