IF the pacers can get him, he is definitely a point guard on the rise. Most would think im bogus for mentioning his name but if you paid close attention to his career you would see hes just a victim to bad systems like a lot of NBA players (not all). ill make this simple and short by stating a couple facts about his game
- should of went to college but sorry basketball fanatics this is not a game its a business, so he made the most logical choice for his self and family. Would you have went to college if you were offered a sneaker contract and were told you could be a lottery pick? i didnt think so.
- he was a victim of his own hype, i will admit that, but lets not downplay how talented he really was.
- he was the first sub 6' point guard to make the jump. trust me he was as good as advertised.
-the problem with his game is that he was unlike tj ford not a scoring point guard but a play maker with his passes but he was drafted to team with not alot of weapons to pass to ha. the league expected him to be like better than chris paul but they forgot he came out of highschool with no college experience like paul
- it has required alot of patiences to watch him develop but hes come a long ways ...he actually learning how to shoot the ball consistently ha.
Mark my words, he will be Chauncey Billups 2.0
