If you had the ability to be on either list (Danny Granger), which one would you choose?

Both lists only include players averaging over 25 min. per game. If you drop the minutes restriction then A.J. Price jumps onto the 3PTA list with 7.3 attempts/40. Yuck!

Well duh.

But that’s how JOB’s system “works” and the style of players that have been brought in by Bird. What do you expect?

I agree, the system encourages it . . .

But even within the confines of this horrible system there are good shots, bad shots, atrocious shots, and god awful shots. Unfortunately, some of that is on Danny. It’s not like the 7 3PTA he’s averaging are wide open looks. As useless as JOB has been, and as committed as he seems to be to his ridiculous “system,” I don’t think he would be reaming Danny out for passing up one or two of those contested 3’s to drive the lane and attack the basket.

If anyone has a few minutes of their life to waste you can check out my extended thoughts on the matter at:

That’s how our system goes but it doesn’t take a damn genius to figure out it’s not working… it didn’t work with Boston or Philly either…. too bad O’Brien’s a stubborn ass.
