Who Shot JR?

Mike Dunleavy, Jr. that is.

And by shot, I actually mean, whose shot clanked off the rim so fiercely that it hit Dunleavy like an actual brick in the eye, rendering him useless in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon?

Dunleavy is expected to return to action on Tuesday so we might as well have a little fun with the incident which is the type of thing that could only happen to a 21-45 team at this point in the season.

Since no names were revealed that leaves plenty of suspects among those on the roster capable of shooting sideways...during warmups.

After voting in the poll, share your thoughts on the possible details of the errant attempt.

Twas Dunleavy himself!

Suishot! He’s doing everything he can to avoid playing with this dreadful team. I blame him not.

There are a few guys I could see banging a layup off the rim and wounding themselves…

I'm going to say Luther Head

In an attempt to get back in the rotation. But it didn’t really work too well. On the bright side, it’s not like he cost the team a win. The odds were always greater Duns’d get sniped out by a runaway basketball than make a meaningful impact in a game this season.

I wouldnt really call it a shot...

but I have it from a reliable NBA source that at the time of the accident JOB had instructed Dunleavy to stand in the corner of the court to get warmed up for his usual JOB stand job during the game. One of the Milwaukee fans was so upset of him blocking his view for the entire warmup that the fan grabbed one of the Pacers balls and threw it at Dunleavy causing the injury.

I would have said TJ, but...

Since TJ is the worst 3 point shooter (in the league?), I would have suspected him, but since he was out with a pulled groin, it could only have been one of the other Pacers JOKINGLY IMITATING TJ heaving a three while pulling his groin!

the dark horse is solo

when i was at the chicago game a couple weeks ago solo chucked up three after three is warmups both before the game and during halftime, many of which were 5 to 6 feet behind the line and most were clankers. So with my vote I say Solo did it in the library with the candle stick.
