Wow

ESPN actually sent me an NBA text worth getting:

LeBron James, 35 points at halftime against the Knicks.

Don't think so

I just saw he scored 24 straight…craziness

He's 13-of-18 from the field

That’s called the zone

4-7 deep

Definitely the zone.

Pacers still

On that pesky back-to-back losing streak? I had thought we snapped that recently. Guess not!

I was worried about that play

He wasn’t getting ANY leverage on Bogut, but did great getting back to get the basket. Great work.

Bucks fans yelling

“MILWAUKEE! MILWAUKEE!”

Weird chant. Very weird chant.

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 8:47 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Crowd

They’re crowd sounds crazy into this game. Must be free beer/shots night or something. I think the cheerleaders are playing beer pong behind the basket!

Vintage t-shirt night? C’mon. Bobbleheads. That is the answer to everything.

I was thinking that

Saw him on the bench and was thinking, “Stack is a Buck? Since when?”

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 8:55 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Haha

He’s looking sharp for being 50 years old

This effort

Seems familiar. Haven’t seen it in a couple of games.

Blow horns

The blow horns are giving this game a European soccer-type feel. Are we sure these noises are actually coming from the crowd, or is the PA guy just playing a recorded audience over the speaker system?

I was wondering that

With the chants. It’s a strange NBA atmosphere.

I hope they’re pumping in crowd noise though. Create a real controversy.

Clearly not Diener/McBobs.

LeBron update

He’s called off the attack. Zero points in the third quarter with 3 minutes to go.

stacks signed with milwaukee a couple weeks ago for 670,000 for the remainder of the year

talk about playing for love of the game at this point in his career

Idea

The Pacers ought to sign random fans to 10-day contracts for the remainder of the season. It’d be like winning the lottery. You have to buy two tickets to a game in order to be entered into the drawing, and then after each 10-day period, that person is released and another person signed for 10-days. I mean, that’s got to be a good chunk of change. Plus, you get to meet Larry Bird, hang with the players, sleep with the groupies. And the Pacers increase attendance cuz it’s a lottery and it’s Indiana, which is a lethal combination. It’s a win-win!

+43,199

My dribbling is a bit questionable, but I rebound well for someone 5’11". I may be able to get a spot above Diener in the rotation by the end of the week.

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 9:13 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Good idea but..

make it a 10 day contract to coach the Pacers

by Slick4President on Feb 6, 2010 9:15 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Hopefully Larry is on here right now reading this. This is gold. It’ll save his job.

But it’s so damn true

by spstevenson on Feb 6, 2010 9:36 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

So...

Head gone, Foster and Hansbrough more or less gone. Down to twelve active players. Ford being benched, down to eleven. Hopefully trading Murphy to Cleveland. Down to ten assuming we only get Z in return, which means we should be sending him back to Cleveland.

We won’t even have to try and tank.

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 9:43 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Ford hurting a bit?

Still managed to hit a three pointer somehow. Another fine effort for him. But if he’s hurting, that could put us in a situation for the rest of the night.

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 9:33 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

It also could help us when Watson comes back so Ford gets sent back to the bench for a reason. Of course, I would rather have him playing for trade value purposes anyway.

Nice effort to close out the half

Down seven. Was a lot worse, so could’ve been a lot worse.

A.J. Price

goes down with an injury…now it could be all up to T.J. Ford. Oh yeah!

Depending on the severity of the Price concussion

Obie’s not going to have a choice but to play him.

Jennings scoreless

SCORELESS.

And we trail by eight.

Really??

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 10:34 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Suddenly down double digits

Five to go. Plenty of time to come back…but no real history to suggest it can happen.

That last one minute stretch

was the death blow. I don’t see us coming back from here.

Stackhouse

Player of the Universe, February 6, 2010. Sure LeBron had 47, but Stack has 14 at age 47.

Sure makes me feel bad

breathing hard using the snowblower on the driveway today!

by IndyDan on Feb 6, 2010 10:48 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

How disappointing

I truly think we’re a better team than Milwaukee.

by IndyDan on Feb 6, 2010 10:46 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Jennings does not impress me

I’d take AJ over him anyday. What kind of PG gets out shot from the FT line by Shaq?

by IndyDan on Feb 6, 2010 10:50 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

He had an off night

Hitting that rookie wall I think.

by goodlucksaturday on Feb 6, 2010 10:52 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Yep

maybe not as hard as Steph Curry though
