All-Star Sat.
I am a fan of the All-Star weekend. I really enjoy it, and look forward to watching it.
Why can't Indiana ever get a team in the Shooting Stars thing. Reggie Miller, Danny Granger, and Tamika Catchings would clean up in that event, there is know doubt in my mind. I know its not much, but hey as this season unfolds it may be are only chance to win anything for awhile.
The Dunk contest was bad this year. They need to put up some big money to get the good players to do it. They should do like 500,000 for the winner, and 500,000 for the charity of the players choice. That would get these guys in. King James and Howard would be an all time great show down. And how sad was it for the Dallas Mavricks to have the biggest no names in the history of the contest judging. But before Cuban I guess they sucked worse than we do now.
Here are some more Shooting Stars Match-ups I would like to see:
Ray Allen - Larry Bird
Baron Davis - Danny Manning
Steve Nash - Rex Chappman
Peja Stojakovic - Glen Rice
Derrick Rose - Micheal Jordan or Pippen

Danny has hit 89 threes this year and has hit 35%. Thats with 6 weeks out. So, I guess I don’t know what you mean by ice cold. Paul Pierce, newly crowned three point champ, has only hit 78 threes thes year with a lot more games played than Granger. So basicly Gary you don’t know what the hell your talking about. Reggie, Danny, and Tamika would be awesome at that event . . . Gary you can suck it.
Listen up you jackass
Here’s the thing. Paul Pierce this season is 78 from 174, while DG33 is 89 out of 258. So yeah, Danny has hit 11 more 3’s than Pierce, but he’s taken 84 more attempts to get them. Who cares if Pierce has played in more games? Danny might not be ice cold, but he’s put up plenty of shots and hasn’t knocked many down. You’d know if you actually watched a game!
Take it easy, men
we’re talking shooting stars competition here.
BTW, I too thought the Pacers with Reggie/Tamika or Katie Douglas/along with a current P would be good.
Absolutely
Reggie, Tamika or Douglas, and Granger (or if % is so important, Murph) would be a great team.
PS – I can’t believe I just offered Murph’s name to be a part of All-Star weekend.
