I just read where Larry Brown has stepped down as coach of the Bobcats. Could this be an opportune time for the Pacers to reach out to him? Not for a 4-5 yr. commitment, but maybe the rest of this year, and next year? I'm sure he'd be better for the organization, and definitely a better teacher for our players. He just has that quality that Jim O'BriEn doesn't have.He can teach some of our younger players what they need to learn that I'm afraid they'll never get with JOB here. He can be tough, but maybe they need a little of that, without being "put down", as JOB has done to so many of our Pacers. I 'don't' believe Brown is the answer--long term, but he could really help now, and Now is what we need. We need strong leadership from the bench, and with this opportunity knocking, hopefully the Pacers will pull the switch===switch off JOB, switch on Brown.
