Who am I jokin, one of the best games you'll see from any team this year. Great all around effort from the team. Everyone looked great and I'm sure Bird is sittin back puffin a cigar and havin a brandy after Rush comes back strong and all his draft picks playing very well. Hope they keep justifying our faith in them. As for the game, LOVED IT!!!! Though the commentators had a point and we did give up 110 points. We also let up at the end losing the fourth quarter. Though it didn't make a difference in this game, I would like to see a killer instinct from the team, which means not getting comfortable when we have a big lead. That's the easiest way to lose a big lead, especially later in the season when teams are more vested in the game. Yeah it's nitpicking, but toughness period let alone mental toughness, is something this team must have if they are going to live up to our now higher than ever expectations. They better not tease us with this show of greatness and fall back into a funk at the first show of adversity. Loved the game and the passion, let's keep working and improving and we can look forward to a trip back to the playoffs.
Assuming guys like Dunleavy keep producing like they did in this game and McRoberts and Hansbrough play like they have been, do we need another PF? Would we or should we trade a Dunleavy (thats producing at a high level) for just a soso PF or a late first rounder?. Or would we wanna keep him for a playoff run? I think we all agree about trading Ford for hopefully a late first rounder, but if this team somehow keeps playing remotely like they did tonight against the Nuggets, do we make a major trade? Or do we ride out the year and try to sign an impact player next year and keep salary to resign our young guys?
