I agree that the Pacers have a different 'feel' this year, but it hasn't and probably won't amount to very much in the win column. The end of the Magic game was a real head-scratcher. Giving up the 3-point play to Nelson was inexcusable; then, down by 2 with plenty of time to run the offense they bog down looking for a 3-pointer (although to be fair, 3-point futility seems to be a significant portion of their regular offense). That last defensive stand and offensive possession was the team's approach in a microcosm- bad defense and perimeter shooting. This formula has never equated to NBA wins and never will. And by the way, have you ever seen anybody miss worse than Dunleavy; when he's off it is ugly.
