... we should try trading maybe Dunleavy or another wing who's hot right now but won't be for long considering our experience. One player who'll be an easy target would be jason thompson - averaging 12.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 30 min last season - who lost minutes in sac due to the addions of delambert, cousins and landry. Sactowns frontcourt is stuffed and their biggest weakness is the 2 and 3 position. Thompson is still very young and could be a piece of a young core featuring collison, hibbert, george and granger as their leader. Oh btw this trade works financially - http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28ay56d. I see this trade as a win-win situation since sacramento doesn't need or use thompson anymore and we get our starting young pf in return. Financially Thompson is a low-risk player since he makes about 2 mil/year over the upcoming 2 years and dunleavy becomes a FA after the season which will suit sacramento too.
what do you guys think ??
