Report: Lance Stephenson's Court Date Moved
New York hoops writer, Adam Zagoria reports that Lance Stephenson appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court this morning but his assault case was not heard. Instead the court date was moved to February 25th, 2011, according to Stephenson's attorney Alberto Ebanks.
The Indiana Pacers have been waiting for Stephenson's legal proceedings to run their course before determining what action they will take with regard to the 19-year-old rookie. I assume this doesn't change anything which means Stephenson will be on the roster for the bulk of the season at the very least.

What a big surprise
Anytime I have heard about some issue dealt with in court at a specific date (at least with some public interest), the date has been moved. I guess it was in Lance’s and his agents’ best interest to move the date, as this means they will likely get some of their guaranteed money…..
My bet is...
… his accuser will get some of that guaranteed money too!

Rumor is...
… she taught him everything he knows about guarding the pick and roll, so it’s only fair I guess. :)
