LeBron James And Dwight Howard Meet With Larry Bird
Relax, it's not some plot to create the next NBA superpower in Indianapolis.
According to Eddie White, LeBron James was in Indy on Monday to meet up with Dwight Howard (in town to play the Pacers) to shoot a Super Bowl commercial at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Apparently, the two will re-create the classic McDonald's Michael Jordan/Larry Bird H-O-R-S-E commercial. Not sure if they move the game outside the lane with Howard involved, but I'm sure it will be humorous. The punchline includes Larry Bird stepping in at the end and swiping a bag of fries from the two current superstars as they're haggling over the food.
Nothin' but net. If you're too young to remember the original commercial, check it out after the jump.

What an awful idea. Jordan and Bird could shoot the rock. I get Lebron, but not Dwight. Should have been Kobe, but maybe he didn’t want to do it.

They were originally coming to Indiana..
to film it with TJ Ford and Dahntay Jones shooting 3’s. Apparently they were there from Thanksgiving till the New Year and neither of them could sink one, so they went to their backup plan of Lebron and Dwight.
