This trade idea is a different version of the idea from W.Diesel and without his post this idea doesn't come up.
Pacers get:
Andre Iguodala and Elton Brand
Sixers Get:
T.J. Ford, Troy Murphy, and Jeff Foster
I guess this trade really rides on the perceived value of Iguodala from each individual fan that posts on here. I honestly see the Sixers taking this if they can't get T-Mac instead. The 76ers have all their chips in and they are towards the bottom of the association at 13-27. Only way they can rebuild and move on would be shedding the major contracts of Elton Brand and Iguodala.
Okay... here's the bad part for all of the fans who don't know it yet.... Both players recieved by the Pacers would be on contract for a VERY long time. The aging and often injured Brand is on contract for 4 more years and his salary will bounce around the 15 million range. Now here's the good part.... Danny finally gets some help and the outlook of our team looks a bit brighter. Having Danny, Iggy, Hibbert, and a high draft pick with the possibility of picking up Mr. John Wall. (If the Nets get the pick then they will try and move Devin Harris and if we could trade Dunleavy's last year contract for him with our next draft pick.... that would be so cool lol)
... Okay sorry I get off track, but I feel Elton's contract would be a big price to pay.... we should pay it....
