Hansbrough's Career Not Getting Off On Right...Shin
Tyler Hansbrough can find a lost dog without uttering a word, so it makes sense that he only used three words to assess his right shin injury when asked by Mike Wells.
"It's getting better," he said.
While Hansbrough's update may be accurate, Larry Bird offered a little more on the situation, expressing some frustration that Hansbrough won't be ready to go full speed, 5 on 5 when camp begins.
Excuse me while I try to scrub the visions of Jonathan Bender currently floating through my head.

I saw Hansbrough in the downtown Boarders yesterday. No boot, crutch or anything.
He has one killer hand shake; I honestly thought that he may have done some damage to one of my hand bones. He is a bit awkward, but damn he is huge.
IF Hansbrough turns out to be injury prone and can’t get minutes I want it known that this does not excuse the pick. Larry Bird made a bad call with this one, injuries or not. He should have known that someone who practiced like a mad man and played more minutes than any collegiate player in history would have some injury issues.
Agreed
Well, at least about the pick being bad if he’s chronically injured. The scary thing is that he had the exact same problem last year around this time.
Hansbrourgh = one word = BUCK
