Happy Birthday, Reggie; More Conversation About Dahntay Jones and Mike Dunleavy
Reggie Miller turns 44 today and NBA TV is giving us all a present by broadcasting Reggie's greatest hits all day, including the re-broadcast of eight epic games staring #31. Which game is your favorite?
Also, Jeff Rabjohns and Mike Wells discuss the impact of Mike Dunleavy's return on the battle for minutes among the wing players. Wells lays out his rationale for starting Dahntay Jones. Video after the jump.
If you're jonesin' for a little more Jones, Conrad Brunner and Dahntay Jones have a casual summer conversation about Dahntay's expectations for the upcoming season.

As I was contemplating getting NBA TV for today
I flip channels and find that I somehow already have it. Comcast doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s like a magical channel fairy someitmes.
Anyway, I was reminded how much I dislike Bill Walton’s commentary. In Knicks/Pacers Game 1 he just randomly says, “The first game I ever attended was watching Kareem skyhook past Wilt’s points record.” HUH!? Thank you, Bill Walton. He was also surprised when he found out Greg Anthony was fined for fighting with Haywoode Workman. “What are backup point guards doing getting in fights?” Uh, it’s a rivalry, Bill.
I’m pretty excited. Shame I have to work tonight. I’m going to record the Orlando and Milwaukee games and watch them later.
Just wait until the end of the game when Walton starts chiming in about how poorly the Pacers played and how they won’t be able to get back into the series after losing Game 1. It’s awesome. If only Reggie could have replicated the choke sign to Walton on the sideline at the end.

Yeah
I loved when he said, “If you’re the Pacers, you don’t want to win this by one point at the buzzer.” Really? Why wouldn’t you want to win by one point on the road in New York again?
You can tell this is a Joey Crawford game though. Man.
It’s like watching this game anew. I remember this game, but it’s amazing what nearly 15 years can make you forget. Like how great Smits played in this game.
Indiana and Chicago in '98
Because Reggie pulled a Jordan on Jordan and got away with it.
So Awesome.
My soul sister
I agree. Plus I love Bird’s reaction on the bench, or I should say lack of reaction. Can’t watch it enough.
