IC Cold Links: Pacers Set To Play In Beijing, Otherwise Quiet
Shhh. Do you hear that?
No?
Exactly, nothing. We know there's a lot going on at the Fieldhouse so the silence is almost too loud to tolerate any more. While we wait for some expected action, here are a few links of interest:
- Pacers to play Nuggets in Beijing and Taipei
NBA China announced a second pre-season game between the Indiana Pacers nad Denver Nuggets on October 11th in Beijing. Three days earlier the teams will play in Taipei, Taiwan. - Jarrett Jack officially introduced in Toronto
Doug Smith reports on Jarrett Jack's introductory news conference. No surprise that Jack made a favorable first impression. - Keep an eye on this Stephon Marbury rumor. If he takes the Celtics' bi-annual exception then a sign-and-trade for Marquis Daniels is done.
- Kings, free agent Sean May agree to 1-year deal
Former Mr. Basketball, Sean May will try to move his NBA career forward in Sacramento. He should be healthy and plenty motivated for his one-year showcase to the league. - Hardwood Paroxysm -The "Why Not?" Doctrine
Rob Mahoney includes Earl Watson in his 'why not?" signing category. - Sekou Smith tweets about the Pacers showing interest in Solomon Jones for a some minimum front court help.

if no sign and trade
what do you guys think will happen with Daniels? I honestly REALLY want to see us offer Daniels a decent contract, since we DO need help on the wing now, his defense would be nice, and now there are no better wings out there in FA.
