IC Cold Links: Waiting On Game 3 From Orlando
Here are a few items of interest while waiting for the Finals to resume tonight:
- Jermaine O'Neal jersey remains valuable
Man, times are tough when robbers not only clean out your wallet but also your classic J.O. jersey. - You, Me and My Knee - Mike Dunleavy blog
Dunleavy is getting tired of all of the medical attention he's been receiving lately. Rates it right up there with pennies, metal bats and warm tomatoes. - Luke Zeller to work out with Pacers - The Indianapolis Star
Jeff Rabjohns reports that former Indiana Mr. Basketball, Luke Zeller is set to work out with Pacers on Tuesday along with James Johnson (Wake Forest), Marcus Landry (Wisconsin) and K.C. Rivers (Clemson). - Jordan Hill slipping down draft boards?
Jordan Hill would be a nice fit for the Pacers and DraftExpress reports that if he slides by Washington at #5, then Hill may drop past Toronto at #9. This would be one scenario I could see the Pacers trading up to take advantage of on draft night. - Magic Try To Resolve PG Situation
Former Pacer, Anthony Johnson has been the odd man out for the Magic in the Finals. Should be interesting to see if he gets any burn tonight. - Local PG prospect, Jeff Teague catching the Milwaukee's eye
Jeff Teague is pondering whether or not to stay in the draft, but if his stock remains in the top half of the draft it should be an easy decision.

Interesting tidbit about Teague
At least in the sense that Milwaukee would plan to let Sessions walk? Would he be out of Indiana’s price range? He seems a bit inconsistent, and has no long range game, but I’m certainly not going to pretend I’m not interested in a player that can drop 44 and 12 assists or even a triple double against the Lakers, but it seems he has his serious off nights, but I certainly wouldn’t mind exploring him if things in draft night go in a certain direction.
I also wasn’t a big fan of Jameer Nelson playing in the Finals. The Magic had something really good going, and as much as the Magic with a healthy Nelson would be my pick for the NBA Champions, throwing him back into the rotation like they did just screws up way too much at this point in the year. I’m also lamenting the scapegoating on Courtney Lee for what it’s worth.
I’m kind of glad we’re not in the Ricky Rubio sweepstakes. This kid seems like he’s going to be a huge diva, especially if he’s good in the NBA.

Rubio is the truth ....
I personally don’t like this story about him not wanting to go to Memphis …. Eli Manning did not want to go to San Diego and lose … so he played the phenom card and now he has a super bowl ring …. we don’t like it because we cant call the shots in our own lives …. but i would be SMART for him to do whatever he can to stay the hell out of memphis
