Jon Brockman
I'm really hoping that the team in this segment from Chad Ford is the Pacers. I believe Seth and I both would love to see him in a Pacer uniform,
"This draft, more than any other I've been around, is still totally open. I don't believe anyone has a promise, with one possible exception. Washington's Jon Brockman hasn't worked out for anyone since pulling out of the NBA draft combine in Chicago. I don't know where the promise is or who made it, but someone locked Brockman up early and we haven't heard from him since. I doubt it's a first-round promise. More likely, someone in the second round guaranteed him a three-year deal slightly higher than the league minimum."

The Brockman situation is quite intriguing
Brockman lit up the Portsmouth event in April and I asked a Pacers’ scout about him after that event and he was gushing, so I’ve been hanging onto similar hopes that the Pacers may land him some how. He has really remained underground so something has to be gonig on (not necessarily with the Pacers, but with some team). I heard an interview with UW player Quincy Pondexter recently and he didn’t offer any info but did say Brockman was in Rocky IV mode, training in isolation. He mentioned showing up at the gym one night at 11:30PM thinking he’d be alone and then hearing a ball bounce and walking in to see Brockman with his shirt off, looking cut and dripping wet with sweat. Could be a great role player, ala Charles Oakley.
One annoying thing about Brockman:
Even more than most, I don’t believe he thinks he’s ever committed a foul. He’s the king of looking shocked when he hears a whistle after knocking a guy to the ground.
Hey, if Brockman's #1 than Austin Daye is #2 and Michah Downs is #3.
I’m really not throwing bias in on this one. Besides, they don’t play us any more because they’re sc-urred.
Could be also his "home region" team, my Blazers
With the #55 or #56 pick. Though I’m not sure he is intriguing enough to guarantee him a deal. He works hard, but even more so than players like Blair is very undersized for the PF position.
