Another trade question from a NO fan.
Hey guys, what's going on? I am very interested to see what you moves y'all make in the offseason. As most NBA folks know, New Orleans is way over the cap next year and we'll probably be trading Tyson Chandler for peanuts. My question is this, does a move of Peja and a 2010 first for Foster and Tinsley make sense to you? Do you think it is a fair deal?
Our bench has been horrid this year, and getting a quality big and pg would really help out in my opinion. Peja would work in O Brien's sytstem much like Dunleavy who will be gone at the beginning of the year. The contracts also last for the same amount of time. The problem is that this move obviously does not help you defensively.
As for the Hornets, besides helping our bench, this would allow us to use Antonio Daniels, along with some other 2010 contracts as a bargaining chip for a solid starting center. I'm thinking Dalembert will be available with somethiong like that.
Anyway what do you guys think? Am I crazy? Also, what do y'all think you are shooting for in the draft? Thanks and good luck next season.

Peja is done.
I cannot see the Pacers making a move for Peja that involves Foster. Peja didn’t want to be here when the sign and trade went down with NO. Anyway he is really looking old and slow. The Pacers need athleticism and defense. The only way Foster is coming to New Orleans is if Chandler is involved. Jeff is the Pacer’s un-stated team capitain. He’s given 10 years of service and hard nosed work that has earned him the capitaincy even though Granger is the go-to-guy.
