10 reasons I love the Pacers.

Star-divide

1. Clark Kellogg

2. Travis Diener's assist to turnover ratio

3. Troy Murphy giving me HOPE there will one day be another Larry Bird

4. The cornerstone player of the next generation was found: Danger Granger

5. TJ Ford's ability to breakdown the other teams PG nightly.

6. The future that lies ahead for Roy Hibbert and Brandon Rush.

7. The fact there is a player on our roster being compared to Chauncey Billups. Jarrett Jack

8. Marquis Daniels' ability to fill the starting 2 spot.

9. The effort put forth by the front office, coaching staff, players, marketing staff to bring us back to Conseco Field House. Go to a game Pacer everybody its worth it every time I go.

10. I think we can all agree the last 4 years have been less than satisfying but at the same time I think we can also agree the teams that have been on the court fight no matter what! & today I can say the guys on the court now have a great deal of HEART.  So when our talent level reaches the level of heart in this organization the seats will be full - playing on ESPN - and really fighting in the playoffs for a championship year in and year out.

great post

I feel better about the team than I have since the early part of the decade even without a gaudy record.

I agree!

I think anyone with at least a somewhat knowledge of basketball can see that this teams growing/improving and we have most of the pieces to compete here soon, i mean we are competing every night already, once all the young’ins get settled in and can contribute nightly i think we’ got something special.

Effort

The Pacers play hard night in and night out. That’s a rare thing in the NBA. It’s annoying, but if Granger and Dun were not hurt, this team would be above .500.

just wanted to say

It messes with my mind a bit but it’s nice to see you over here some now that the Colts are in offseason mode. I’m a big fan of both sites but due to the teams’ success, SB gets a lot more love. Time to get back on the Pacers bandwagon…
