The Indiana Pacers look to win their third-straight game tonight when they face the Orlando Magic at the Amway Arena.
The Magic boast several lethal weapons from behind the arc to go along with Superman in the paint. Needless to say, winning will be a challenge for the Pacers. Not helping matters is the fact that the Magic lost the final two road games on their recent West Coast swing. So now they're home and hungry for a win.
Mike Wells reports from Orlando that Dahntay Jones will be a game-time decision depending on how his hip feels. If Dahntay can't go who will start in his place is unknown, although Jim O'Brien is considering Luther Head which would add another to the growing list of lineup combination you never thought you'd see before the season started.

Dunleavy starting tonight
per Mike Wells’ Twitter page
Also upped to a 28 minute restriction for tonight
Game is on
Pacers up 6-2
Dunleavy just had a sweet pass to Roy in the lane that he missed, but TJ eventually scored.
Howard to the line again
Do we have enough big guys to “hack-a-Howard” tonight? His FT percentage is pretty bad.
speaking of hack a whomever,
does anyone know how Shaquille O’Neal is doing? I haven’t been paying attention to Cleveland.
I recently saw a replay of him running down the court in Cleveland
you might as well just roll him around.
Good question
he, AJ, and Head have been quiet for awhile. It’s too bad, they can all play. We just have too many players at those positions
Pacers with the great D
lets hope they can keep this up tonight. Oh and bad 3 point shooting for the Magic will help too!
Wow
Pacers have an amazing ability to make it look so easy, then make it look so difficult within 5 minutes
I guess
I’d be happy if you told me the halftime score before the game, but man, it feels like we should be up more
They could have a poetry writing contest...
(i just remember that segment during Reddick’s senior year.)
Credit due for TJ
11 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, 0 turnovers. Let’s see if he can put a full game together.
Awesome in the first quarter and the start of the second
It looked like a team with talent who played the game right. It was as close to good basketball as I’ve seen from this team this year. Then they went and did that thing they do from time to time again…
All right
Just in time for the second half. Has Dunleavy played 18 minutes? What’s going to happen with his minutes? Is he just going to 36 and that be that?
I'm a little behind the actual game, so if I spout something that doesn't agree with the timeline
just ignore it. Thanks.
I wish they kept a stat on that
Times Frustrated Opponent: 6
“Did you see Foster had SIX TFOs!?”
It’d need a catchier name though.
I lost any type of minuscule interest I had in Howard
after I saw parts of the slam dunk contest at last year’s All star weekend. That was pretty horrible.
Foster is annoying him...
But he acts like playing as a center, he should only get as much contact as a guard would.
Foster
Is looking a lot better here recently than he did all of last year. Good to have Jeff back in full force.
I dunno...
He looks pretty comfortable at that range. If he can bring Howard out of the paint we could open up something else.
There's only 3 teams I'd consider watching on a regular basis right now
Indiana, OKC, Portland…I have to think about this.
I got those 3
and Cavs, Magic, Nuggets, Warriors. Tried to get teams that wern’t on TV all the time, and different timezones!
Watching the Magic jack up threes
Is like an amnesiac getting his memory back. I’m starting to remember how this Magic team won the Eastern Conference last year. Very lucky to catch them on an off night from deep.
Yea
I just looked at the box score and saw he had only two points…then, next possession, he drilled the 3-pointer…typical
I don't know what announcers you guys have...
but here on Sunsports, the announcers are bad mouthing us a little.
I watching the Orlando version too
Basically they’re saying the Pacers are lucky hanging around…which is sorta true.
As long as Indiana can respond
I’m not worried about a mini rush by the Magic. Just need to keep the pressure on.
Refs
Seem to be “wising” up that Hansbrough is a rook and not giving him the calls he should be getting.
yes...
he just AIRBALLED…. in the 4th, wide open, perfect step into shot, great pass
AIRBALL>….
~SHaFF!~
i think it would help us win...
but is it really worth the risk? If he can really play like this in the future. Almost not worth the risk.
~SHaFF!~
Not sure what he's supposed to do
He’s wide open, clock is winding down, the ball comes to him. I’d be calling him out for passing it, not taking it.
if rush doesn't start hitting those wide open 3's....
he’s going to be cut from every roster he ever makes.
~SHaFF!~
what I want to know...
if they are going to review that one, why didn’t they review the other disputable one under the basket?
~SHaFF!~
but he was playing dwight howard....
I know he fouls a lot anyways, but tonight that was the game plan.
~SHaFF!~
I'm in law school now...
If I had enough time, I’d consider dropping for it. As it is, I don’t think I’d get my money’s worth.
He has done that to a few opposing players
I remember him laughing with D Williams, and Williams ignoring him.
I feel the same
Had our chances, couldn’t capitalize. Magic took care of business when they had to. There are positives to take from this one. We’re without our best player, on the road, against one of the premier teams in the league. I’m not discouraged at all by this one.
Dwight looks uninterested in postgame interview...
Chalks up game to adjusting from west coast time.
Ron Jeremy exclaims that Dwight is made of fine china...
expands on this by stating league-wide conspiracy to get away with fouling Howard in face/neck.
