Expiring Contracts in 2010/11
Troy Murphy 11.5
Mike Dunleavy 10.5
TJ Ford 8.5
Foster 6.5
Tinsley - 5.5
What kind of player can we expect to get especially a powerful big point guard would be great. We seem to be shoring up all the other positions with Hibbert, Rush, Granger,Dahntay Jones the future doesnt seem that dark. But what kind of trade are we capable of swinging with the expiring contracts that we have.

They need to get out from under Dahntay Jones now. Maybe they can package him with a Jeff Foster to a contender, closer to the deadline.
Bottom line is that this team needs to finally get around to REBUILDING.
If Larry Bird doesn’t feel like he wants to stick around through a rebuilding (the excuse of why we havent rebuilt yet) Then send him on his way. We need a talent evaluator. Not a local celeb running this franchise.
The fans will come back if you put a winner on the floor. Management needs to have faith in that. Quit with the gimicks and filling out the back of the roster. Bottom out and get some difference makers. This isn’t a core capable of anything other than .500.

Troy Murphy – Gone
Mike Dunleavy – Gone
TJ Ford – Gone
Foster – Probably retiring after 2010/2011.
Tinsley – Already Gone
This will free up a lot of cap. We have to be smart over the next couple years on the contracts we give, the players we draft, potential trades we make, and the free agents we bring in. The NBA has a lot to do with team chemistry. We seem to have a great, young core right now in Granger, Rush, Hibbert, Hansbrough, Price, McRoberts and Sol Jones.
