This is a website that I am on allllll the time, I dont know if any of you know about it, but it is the biggest time killer of all time. It is sporcle.com.

and to my surprise, today searching through user-created, sports quizzes, here is one on the pacers. I closed it before i looked at my score, but it wasnt great, weirrrdd thinking back to these guys. And do yourselves a favor, browse the site for 10 minutes, youll all love it.

I'm on Sporcle way too often. Hadn't done this one

Just did a #1 seeds for the NCAA tournament a few minutes before this one.

Despite doing the draft pick series earlier this year, and actually familiarizing myself with the names, there were three I just could NOT place. 1979, even though I remember what he did for the Pacers. Also, the 1983 second pick. I know where he went to school, but I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me. The only one I just had no recollection on at all was the 1994 pick, which I couldn’t trace a pattern to at all. I could not, could not, could not think of who it was, where he went to school, what he did with the team if he even played for the team.

Had hardest trouble getting 1999, but it came to me as the quiz was winding down, haha. 1978 and 2000 were frustrating because I knew the names, but couldn’t remember what they were, but finally remembered those.

aaahhhh!

sporcle makes me want to break my computer. 79 out of 95! shoulda been much higher. Please tell me how I read about the Pacers every day and watch about 60-65 games a year, and cant name the starting SG from the 08-09 season!? lol

I dont wanna spoil for anyone, but I dont remember at allllll the starting PG from the 02-03 season ever starting, or being on the team for that matter. some i missed i shoulda got tho.

I got 85/95, a couple of “duh…”, a few I had legitimately forgotten. I knew the 95-96 center, but couldn’t spell it…

I did get the SG from 08-09, but I didn’t get the PF from 07-08. When I saw it, I said “Man, I completely forgot about that guy!”

I know it is so weird how you can pay such close attention and just go blank. Thats what sporcle does to you though, you just temporarily blank out and next thing you know the time is up.

Very cool

Struggled with the early 80’s, but that was a good indication of where all my memory goes. Now the next time the wife asks why I couldn’t remember our anniversary, I’ll know what took its place in my brain. Looking forward to trying the Pacers starters quiz!

I got all of them right except Mitch Wiggins and Dudley Bradley (I was thinking Mitch something, but all I could come up with was Mitch Willimas and that wasn’t right)

Loved it!

Just got done….36 out of 54…..I think I did well, I missed 2 in the first column (72 and 31) and I missed a guy that started 19 games last year!! I am a fool. There was 11 or 12 that there was no way I was getting. that was fun.
