Too Much Rod Benson For Pacers, Boom Tho Back In The Blogging Business

According to this report from the Indiana PacersRod Benson, Demetris Nichols and Lawrence Roberts were officially waived today as the team sets its focus on the start of the season next week. With a full roster of guaranteed contracts, the three free agent camp invites weren't expected to make the final roster from the outset.

Of course, the silver lining in all of this is that Rod Benson is back in the blogging game. I'd be surprised if he wasn't maintaining a private collection of his thoughts on his experience with the Pacers, especially since he likely has a year's worth of blog posts from the Asia trip alone. Long live the Boom Tho movement, looking forward to more to come.

Feel bad for the guy, but I don’t see how he was supposed to make that 4-heavy roster anyway.
