HoopsHype Love For Danny
From HoopsHype.com this morning by Eddie Johnson. Love to see Nique talking about him.
Little Snippet
"I had an interesting conversation with Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins last week about when he felt his game actually took off and he told me when he started using the Old Man Moves to keep his defenders off balance. Most who read this will say, “No way.” But again, I must remind people that the sports programs never showed the basic moves – only spectacular ones – and Wilkins became really unguardable when he slowed down his game and started to play on the floor."

Cornrows linke to this somewhere recently
I think it was at the end of a game preview maybe? (too lazy to check)
Either way, I thought it was an EXCELLENT read and really enjoyed it. To me, some of the more enlightening information about playing the game comes from ex-pro’s who are more able to expound on what it took for them to jump that last step up to become great. Not only was the article cool but it made me even more confident about Granger becoming “the man” for us for the considerable future.

Danny Granger is a great Forward
The only reason why Danny Granger didnt’ start the 2009 allstar game is because the Pacers are in the Eastern Conferance. And both Paul “The Truth” Peirce (last season’s NBA finals MVP) & Lebron “LJ” James play in the same conferance on different teams. Had the Pacers been a western conferance team, Danny Granger would have cracked the all star starting line up in a heart beat. I also think Danny Granger deserved more attention for the US mens basketball team last olympics.
Go Colts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
