Summer League Open Thread: Pacers vs. Heat

The Summer Pacers are back in action tonight against the Heat. The game should start around 7:00PM and can be seen here. If that doesn't work go through the Orlando Summer League site.

Don't know how much I'll be able to watch, but if anyone is able to watch please feel free to drop some comments on this post.

Also, plenty of good interviews locally this afternoon with David Morway, Larry Bird, Jim O'Brien and Roy Hibbert. I'll try to post as many as I can later. ThirtyOne mentioned that Morway discussed other teams being interested in Jamaal Tinsley. I heard Bird mention the need for a Power Forward, which is interesting because a little birdie has alluded to a PF deal in the works, but he's holding out on details for me. Hmmm.

Dante and Galante

These guys are weird. They have serious problems, but I get a big kick out of listening to them.

I have been disappointed in Shawne Williams’ performance so far in the summer league. With his talent he should be one of the more dominant players in Orlando.

Pacers down 11-6

Midway through 1Q. Sloppy? Yes.

Umm, Shawne

Make sure you’re standing in bounds when someone passes you the ball.

Josh Davis

plays like a burly Austin Croshere.

Aleks Meric

getting more time tonight, so far. I think the Pacers know what Courtney Sims brings. Nice 3-ball from Andre Emmett.

Another defensive 3 seconds T

Yep, these are the Pacers. Shawne splashes from deep. Hey, David Teague is getting some run. Don’t imagine we’ll see any chest thumping from him in this game.

Shawne Williams curled over on the floor

looks like it might be unfriendly bell ringing below the belt.

Stevie Graham sighting

23 hits a nice three in the flow of the offense. Missed a bit, looks like the Pacers are playing better this half, up 57-52.

Shawne with 14 points

just hit another 3-ball. Shawne’s playing a lot of minutes again tonight even as more of the bench starts to get some run.

Pacers up 72-66

About 8 minutes left. Shawne 15 pts. Stephen Graham 13, Earl and Josh Davis 12 each.

PF options?

Pacers may be in the mix for Carl Landry according to Jeff Rabjohns latest post.

Davis and Graham

making a couple of nice plays off each other. Pacers up 88-80 with about 2 minutes left.
Two-wah!

Shawne Williams finishing strong

4 has been much better in the second half. Sticking out like an NBA player should. Davis and Graham have also been strong.
