ESPN's City High Tournament

Hello Everyone,  I've read the blog for a couple of months now and never had anything to post about but now I think I've found It.  ESPN decided to create a Prep Tourney using players hometowns.  I know it doesn't fit the blog totally but I felt the fact that had the audicity to leave out Indy was unacceptable.  But, give it a read and let me know what you think.

That's crazy

I’d take my chances with:

Greg Oden – C
Eric Gordon – G
Mike Conley – G
Courntney Lee – F
Rodney Carney – F

just for starters.

Yes they both are

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on

It's more than crazy

For some reason ESPN only seems to play to the largest markets…and what makes it worse is that people that know basketball understand the significance of Indy in the basketball world (AAU, Preps, College, and Pro) it just seems like they didnt bother to do any research into what is a very good idea cause I’ve had this same discussion with my friends many times. They just picked the 8 biggest cities they could find.

R.I.P. Jon Stewart

that is a great line up…but they put Eddie Griffin on for Houston…can we get the late Jon Stewart (Lawrence North) that would give us
Conley – G
Gordon – G
Lee – F
Carney -F
and which ever 7 footer you want to start Oden / Stewart
I’d take that 6 against the rest of the country any day

I saw this yesterday

and was appalled by the exclusion of Indy. Someone at ESPN didn’t do their homework before putting out this stupid City High Tournament. Excellent lineup Cornrows.

What about:

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Stephen A. Smith
SF: Josh Howard
PF: Patrick O’Sullivan (NHL Hockey Player for the LA Kings… need a filler) its either him or Mark Grace
C: Tim Duncan (Took residency in becoming eligible for the US Olympic Team, born in St. Croix)
6th Man: Rusty LaRue

I read the ESPN thing too

And I was surprised to see Seattle on there. I’m not surprised the NorthWest churns out alot of athletic talent by any stretch, but I’m surprised that ESPN put it on there as a “basketball” city particularly because the Sonics left.
