Pacers Stick With 11th Pick In NBA Draft
As expected, dumb luck didn't find the Pacers in the NBA draft lottery, so they will go into the NBA draft with the 11th pick. At least they didn't fall further down the draft board.
Hard to expect a franchise-changing player being picked at 11, but then again, the last time the Pacers had the 11th pick, they took a guard out of UCLA named Reggie Miller in 1987. Hmm, could history repeat itself?
Congrats to the Chicago Bulls (GRRRR!!!!) on the number one pick. Like they need more young talent.

A team that had a statistically similar chance of winning the number one pick, a team flush with young talent gets the number one pick. I mean, what luck for the Bulls. Meanwhile, the Pacers, a team with relatively no young talent (surely nothing on par with Deng and Hinrich) gets stuck at 11. I don’t see the Pacers picking up a quality player at that spot and given Larry Bird’s draft history as of late, we can expect that this player will be overpaid and then eventually traded for J.J. Redick, or a similarly-talentless player.

My first post
And I know it is stupid, but all I have to say is that I will praise any deity you choose to name if we can pick up Westbrook. I agree with the post above that the last guard from UCLA we picked up worked out pretty good….

I like what Westbrook brings
If a quality big drops to the spot I’d be happy, also. But Westbrook has talents this roster needs.
