Open Game Thread #52: Pacers vs. Celtics

Here's Bruno's Scouting Report which lays out the challenge the Celtics present the Pacers tonight. The Celtics are still without Kevin Garnett, but the Pacers counter by playing without Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley. The defensive strides the Pacers seemed to make against Portland will be put to the test tonight. Paul Pierce seems to love playing in the Fieldhouse, so it will be interesting to see if Danny Granger can do anything to slow him down while still providing a desperately needed offensive punch for the short-handed Pacers. Honestly, I'll be real happy with 48 minutes of competitive play from the Pacers.

Here's what the efficiency numbers say:

Team Pace Off.Eff. Def.Eff.
IND 96.5(3rd) 106.3(18th) 108.5(19th)
BOS 89.1(21st) 111.8(21st) 99.0(1st)

Projected Starters
PACERS pos. CELTICS
Mike Dunleavy F Paul Pierce
Troy Murphy F Brian Scalabrine
Jeff Foster C Kendrick Perkins
Danny Granger G Ray Allen
Travis Diener G Rajon Rondo
