Dave D'Alessandro posts something interesting
Thanks to Henry Abbott of True Hoop I found this interesting little tidbit by Dave D'Alessandro. The trade rumor works like this:
1) The Nets get Kirk Hinrich and Darius Miles.
2) The Bulls get Jason Kidd and David Harrison
3) The Blazers get the gun toting idiot and Jeff Foster.
4) The Pacers give up Tinsley, and get back Jarrett Jack and Ben Wallace.
First off I don't see how Wallace helps the Pacers. I get why D'Alessandro trades him down the road. The pacers, though, already have a problem in JO and you know, those injuries?
Here's my opinion. D'Alessandro comes up with a solid idea all the way around. The problem is the Nets give up Jason Kidd and get Kirk Hinrich back? The Pacers give up Jeff Foster, an expiring contract no less, for Ben Wallace?
I like D'Alessandro, but I think his idea is too out of wack considering Rod Thorn has shown himself to demand too high a return for Kidd. I don't think the Pacers wanna pay Ben's nearly 30 million the next couple season's after this one also? What do yall think?

Hmmm
I could live with Ben's salary for two more years, could always flip in the final year. The headache potential would be huge though. Will he want to practice full bore the morning before a game? Getting Jack would be nice.
