Slick Leonard loves Josh McRoberts
At the end of the game Saturday night, Slick was praising the play of McRoberts and stated that he needs to play more. Also, he said when everyone is healthy, that may keep him from playing more, but should get more time regardless.
Slick made it clear that McRoberts has a lot of potential.
I really think that if he continues to play well, and stay out of foul trouble, he may be able to make it in this league, and maybe become a valuable role player.
One thing I've seen that he needs to work on is his footing while guarding in the post. He looks a little nervous so he gets all over the place.
Thoughts?

Slick doesn't offer false praise
Nice to hear him praising the play of JM. You can rightly consider Slick a homer but he calls the game like he’s still coaching and has no problem getting on players (see Jarrett Jack) for poor play. I’m sure he says the same thing to them on the plane home, too. So he calls it like he sees it which makes his praise more legit.
Josh does bring some athleticism to the front court which seems to energize the play. It would be nice to see him develop with some more minutes.

Confidence is key
Josh was considered a failure coming out of college and has something to prove to all of us. Good thing for him he also has the tools, heart, and the support to be successful and I think he will.
Would you bluff Slick in a game of poker? His opinion on players carries a lot of weight with GMs and coaches in the league.
