The Indiana Pacers return home after three straight roadies to take on the Charlotte Bobcats in yet another must win game for the Pacers. OK, 'must win' may be a little strong, but when the following seven games are against Orlando, LA Lakers, Boston, Cleveland, Boston (AGAIN!), Toronto and Detroit, it would sure be nice to lock up a W against the Bobcats tonight.
Of course, Charlotte always causes the Pacers problems. Last year the blue and gold were 1-3 against the Bobcats including a loss at the Fieldhouse in April which eliminated the Pacers from playoff contention with two games to go.
So don't think I'm counting this W. Not the case with the Pacers this year, especially against Charlotte. Plus, there's a good chance Jason Richardson may return after missing the last seven games. Yeesh. Richardson gives the Bobcats their most explosive scorer and combines with Gerald Wallace to create all kinds of matchup problems.
Here are the Pacers.com matchups.

Game Day Reading
- Mike Wells is looking for answers to the lost lead epidemic that has the Pacers 4-6 in games after leading at halftime.
- Michael Grady keeps his expectations in check after the Pacers comeback win against Houston.
- HoopsWorld makes the early case for Marquis Daniels as Most Improved Player. Nice to see Quisy get some recognition for his play in Mike Dunleavy's absence.

Tonight for the first time, we get to see who everyone (including myself at one point, dam “expert draft pickers”) thought would be a pacer this year, DJ Augustin. At this point, even though augustin has played well the last few games especially..I don’t think there is any Pacer fan out there that would rather have Augustin than the leanring-very-quickly-how-to-be-a-player Brandon Rush, and Big Roy. Who you think early candidates for rookie of the year? Rose has to be 1 hands down, but afterwrds alot of mush…Love stinks, beasley cant play D and to me looks lost without the ball, Mayo has been good, Fernandez on Portland has been good and I think Rush would get some serious top 5 contention. I might be missing a few guys those are the guys that came to mind tho…

Ugh
Appears to be another painful loss. How come I never hear about Raymond Felton except when he’s torching the Pacers?
