Toyota Center
Radio: 1070AM WFNI   TV: Fox Sports Indiana

Troy Murphy PF Luis Scola
Rasho Nesterovic C Yao Ming

Once again the Indiana Pacers have to stagger back up off the mat to play a game after being losing a late lead the night before. Tonight the body blows keep coming as the Pacers visit the Southwest Division leading Houston Rockets and our old friend Ronnie Artest.

No doubt Ronnie will be engaged in the action, but will the Pacers. Another disheartening loss, seemingly worse than the others, to the Dallas Mavericks last night will really force the Pacers to dig deep to come up with another solid effort.

Oh, yeah, the collapse was brutal but the team did give a solid effort for 48 minutes. The problem now is figuring out how to deal with closing time in the fourth quarter. Roles and responsibilities, play calling and execution all need to be scrutinized. But, so far, the effort is there. Tonight will be a challenge.

Here are the Pacers.com matchups.

FYI

rumors persist that McGrady might not play and that Battier might make his season debut…

Houston fan here...

This game is a lot more competitive than I’d like. I don’t know if it’s because of lousy team play or me not giving the Pacers enough credit.

Whew

Despite all the losses, the Pacers have played every team tough, as they ended up doing tonight. They’ve just had problems finishing games off.

WHAT A GAME

I just tuned in for the fourth and boy am I glad I did. Lots of frustration towards Danny and his missed treys, but damn he made up for it with that block and put back. Great game. Great stop on an ex-Pacer. Loved it. Great game fellas. Great way to restore my faith!

These guys are always better scrappin’ from behind. Doesn’t make sense, but they stole this W. Nice!
