UPDATE: Bruno isLIVE! Bloggin' courtside. No update on Dunleavy's status, still week-to-week acording to JOB.

The Indiana Pacers face the Southeast Division leading Orlando Magic at the Fieldhouse tonight. The Magic present a host of problems for the Pacers to solve, most revolving around Dwight Howard in the middle. But you can't just focus on Howard, otherwise Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu will lead a 3-ball barage capable of inflicting an L.

Jim O'Brien discusses this in this Video Scouting Report saying the Pacers want their "cake and to eat it to" defensively by covering both Howard and the long range bombers. Also, here's a look at the matchups.

Real Excited

About tonights game. I love watching Dwight Howard, let’s see what Rasho and Big Jeff can do on him. Hopefully send him to the line alot. I wanna see Danny absolutely abuse Rashard, Turokglu, whoever else. And just curious in general to test ourselves against an upper-echelon eastern team. I think Danny comes up big tonight in front of the home crowd with Dwight in town.

Pacers up 54-50 at the half

Crazy half, lots of up and down. Lots of Dwight Howard. Pretty good Pacers D on the O 3-ballers (and they still shot 15 of ’em). Silly turnovers wrecked a few Pacers possessions and kept Magic close at half.

Hack-a Howie

Worked ok early, may have to go to it again if there are enough fouls between Rasho, Jeff and Hibbert to go around.

Pacers up 70-65

3:53 left in 3Q.

This is a game of mini-runs by each team. Just when one team seems to be grabbing control, the other comes back at ’em. Pacers have led most of the way.

Offense needs help

Jack, Quisy, Jeff, Murph and Rush can’t find any easy offense.

At least the defensive effort is there.

Pacers up 77-70 end 3Q

Nice finish to the quarter, Foster with a tip with a couple of seconds, plus Quisy scrounged up 5 points in the last minute of 3Q, including a rare 3-ball.

Howard with 20 and 12 after 3

Quisy has a pretty efficient 19 points. Keep making good decision 6.

Whoa

Danny Granger just put out some vicious on-ball defense on Pietrus. Finally drew and offensive foul.

Ooo

Pietrus puts a poster dunk on Rasho

Pacers up 81-75

Magic ball. Pacers offense begging for someone to take over. TJ and Danny are trying but can’t quite get it flowing.

Feels like the Magic

are just hanging around so they can come in and swoop this win away.

85-82

 Magic shooters are shooting

What in the world?!?!?

Granger leaves Rashard Lewis alone so he can dunk on a break away but they give Danny the foul. Danny did tap him in the league, though. Why?

Ford keeps taking it at Howard

Great, Magic finally take the lead.

Granger misses, uh oh

91-91 Pacers ball

6.2 seconds to go.

Will they go to Foster again?

Howard blocks Rasho runner

overtime…

Not sure how Howard recovered to block that, but he is a freak.

Killer…

Danny!

Bailed out a horrible possession with a long three. He was due.

Lewis answers. 96-96

Granger rebounds Nelson miss

Pacers ball, 49.8 left in OT

98-98

Need to move the ball around and get a good shot. Offense has been clunky, no player or ball movement.

Howard smothered Murph layup

Came from weakside before Murph could get it on the glass.

Magic ball with 33.4 left 98-98

Watching the ESPN gamecast

So I didn’t realize the Magic had a foul to give, so I was thinking the foul meant free throws. Tough loss.
