UPDATE: Bruno's Live Blog has some pre-game info. Apparently the Hawks are going big, starting ZaZa Pachulia instead of Maurice Evans. T.J. Ford will start.
The Indiana Pacers face a strong test at home Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks. After struggling through two losses in a row, the Pacers face another young, athletic team similar to the lineup Philadelphia used to comeback against the Pacers last Friday.
The Pacers have to take care of the ball and team up on the glass. This will be a great test to see how this team reacts to a little adversity. The thin margin of error the Pacers work within has been evident in each game so far. If they take care of their business the Pacers can stay on the court with any team and have a good chance to secure a W. If not, regardless of the opponent, they will struggle to win.
Here's a look at the matchups plus a nice addition to the pre-game lineup. Bruno is the Emeril Lagasse of NBA team site directors, kickin' it up a notch with a video scouting report showing interviews with Jim O'Brien, T.J. Ford and Danny Granger talking about the challenges the Hawks present. Nice to have a couple of days between games.
Oh, and I'm just going to pretend I didn't see the part about T.J. Ford, a sore neck and a game-time decision. I'd rather not think about Quisy being pressed into point guard duties until it actually happens.
For an Atlanta perspective, check out Peachtree Hoops. Look around, you will learn something interesting about the Hawks.
Feel free to leave your thoughts and observations on the game in the comments.

Quick start Pacers up 20-13
Danny and Rasho hitting their shots early. Let’s hope it holds.
I’m in DVR catchup mode while getting the kids to bed.
Granger runnin'
The pace is out of control. Danny Granger followed up a TJ layup miss and then goes coast-to-coast for the hoop and harm.
Pacers up 57-45 with 2:22 left in half.
Suddenly, Danny has 16.
Pacers up 61-48 at the half
Pacers haven’t trailed so far. Gotta keep grinding for all 48. Learn from Philly. Joe Johnson can make any lead evaporate in a hurry. Stay with your plan and continue being the aggressor and this game is there for the taking.
Rasho and Foster
Combined for 25 first half points. Pretty good production from the center position, especially for the Pacers.
I Like that
Question: Would we resign Rasho this offseason to a small contract? I assume we will give Foster a smaller contract (like 2 million per), but would we keep both him and Rasho?

Hmm
I didn’t here that he got an extension. I feel like he is a tad overpaid, but I like him being on the team. I hope we have enough open cap space to make a splash in free agency. Daniels and Rasho take off around 14 million, so maybe we could get a decent post player.

Murph has been great in the half court
He’s moved the ball real well. He as three assists and a few more “hockey” assists.
RIms
Are they always this loud?

It’s great to see him going to the post on occasion as well.

I like him as long as he sticks to those inside-of-five-feet variety FGAs

Jack really did all he could to not get that off.

Whoa
Jack was killing me. Still not sure he got that off in time. We’ll take it, nice swing at the end.
…and….he probably didn’t. Nice hustle, Jarrett.

Great win!
Even without Josh Smith, the Hawks have been real good this season. I hope this gets spun as a good solid win by the Pacers, rather than a bad loss by the Hawks. I’m glad that they’re the ones who have to deal with the losing streak now instead of us.
And it seems like everyone here gets the same kind of feeling watching Quisy play that I do. I think he can be great for our system, but man, he’ll give you ulcers watching him.
No doubt
Quisy was huge tonight on defense which seemed to occupy his mind and keep it off offense. Great game!
