Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Hello from Blazers Land!

Hello Cornrows Bloggers...

My name is twiggs, and I am officially a Blazer's Edger. We all like to visit other SBN sites and catch up on news across the league.

I want to know with the season just around the corner, what are your expectations for the Pacers this season? Do you feel that you are playoff bound? How many wins are you expecting out of your team?

I am also curious about player movements. What are your thoughts of Jarrett Jack thusfar (since he is a former Blazer, inquiring minds want to know). What are your feelings about Brandon Rush? Are you glad that the trade happened with the Blazers, or were you set on having Bayless on your team?

I hope we can all converse this season about our teams, especially when we are set to play each other. After review of the schedule, looks like we aren't set to play until March, so I'm sure we will all talk prior to then!

Good luck this season!

Oh and also

Feel free to stop by Blazers Edge at any time. We are all friendly and love to talk basketball with fans of other teams :)

When asked about his thoughts during the Olympic games about playing against Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, Rudy responded "My first thought was respect. My second thought was to kick their ass".

Man I love him.

Another hello from Blazerland

For the record, I think Jarrett Jack was a good pickup for the Pacers.

Oh, and could we please borrow Danny Granger?

For like three championships?

Can we make another trade? Bayless for Tinsley… Yeah.

Anyway, good luck to you. You look poised for a serious run that will that last a while.

Insanity is just a state of mind.

Thanks for stopping by Blazer fans

Can’t wait to watch the Blazers this year. Hopefully Oden can make an impact. Dig around for my previews to read more on my thoughts about this season, Jack, the trade, etc.

In a nutshell, I think the Pacers are capable of making the playoffs this year. Just depends on how consistently they can play at a high level. Jack progressed nicely through the preseason and finished as the reliable backup PG we’re hoping for. I’m sure there’ll be nights that he drives me nuts, but I like what he can bring to this team.

The trade worked out well for the Pacers because Rush and Jack filled needs and the Pacers were also able to unload Diogu who wouldn’t have played much. So for the Pacers at this point in time, I’d rather have Rush/Jack instead of Bayless/Diogu. Seems to have worked out well for both teams. I had to get up off the floor when Bayless was initially dealt.

Thoughts on Jack...

He would drive us nuts most nights, but he was fearless. We loved his energy that he could bring when we needed that spark off the bench,,,we just hated the 6 turnovers that would come from it! We really don’t know how much of Diogu we will be seeing this season, but it’s nice to have another big guy that Oden can beat up on during practice if needed. And Bayless will be a good back up PG and have some fun moments this season (I just hope he can pass the ball more, we haven’t seen enough of this yet).

I wish you guys the best, and hope that you do make the playoffs. It’s going to be a fun year!

When asked about his thoughts during the Olympic games about playing against Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, Rudy responded "My first thought was respect. My second thought was to kick their ass".

Man I love him.

Wow!

6 turnovers? I hope Pacer fans understand this is an exagerration. Jack won a few games for us with his free throws and hustle. He had some bad turnovers at times but he can also break out a big game and help you win as often as he would have those bad nights. He will be a great back up for you. I would worry if TJ gets injured because I don’t think he can carry a team at the PG position for an extended period but you have a solid player in Jack.

Twiggs

I’m so sad about Oden getting hurt. Oden is my favorite player in the NBA, as I have been following his career and going to his games since he was a sophomore in high school. I hope he gets back and you guys (my second favorite team because of Oden) can make the playoffs.

Thank you for the kind thoughts

We can all breathe a sigh of relief (at least a little bit) as it is just a sprain, and 2-4 week recovery. After last season we were very worried about the worst case scenerio.

When asked about his thoughts during the Olympic games about playing against Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, Rudy responded "My first thought was respect. My second thought was to kick their ass".

Man I love him.

I see Oden is out for a couple of weeks

Hopefully that’s it. I love the kid, hope he gets a chance to spread his wings on the big stage.
