Preseason Open Thread #4: Indiana Pacers vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Pacers host Memphis and Michael Conley (no longer Mike Conley, Jr.) tonight. Here's the latest from Mark Montieth. David Harrision is still out, but Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley are expected to play. This could be the last tune up game that includes all the starters.

If you have any thoughts on the game share it with the rest of us by leaving a comment.

They're actually moving!
First time I've seen the Pacers this year...been listening to them on NBA audio pass.  Now I'm home in GA, and reunited with my League Pass.  This offense looks nice.  Diener too.  Nice dang job, Travis. 15-10.

This is fun, isn't it?
The ball and player movement, solid defense, crushing 'em on the boards again. Love it!

Let's not fool ourselves
Memphis stinks, at least without Gasol. But, everyone thought the Pacers would stink. The Pacers don't stink.

Diener's start
No comment from anybody, as to why Jamaal didn't start...seem to be studiously avoiding the subject.

Tins was at a funeral for a friend
yesterday and wasn't back in time to start. I actually took this as a positive. Last year, I don't think he would've made the effort to return for the game.

The Pacers Don't Stink
I believe that's the theme of the next PR campaign.

This is crazy
I have to get used to these 30 point quarters.

Slackers
Pacers only score 29 in the fourth to hang on, 122-115.

The DVR and I...
...are always about 15 minutes behind real-time, so I jusr saw the end.  Marquise!  Very nice. TPDS!

Switched channels and Boston is just killing the Knicks.  They all seem very happy (Boston).
